We want to make sure that as a potential buyer and future member of the HBK family that you are covered and cared for in case of any future problems. So here is what you get with your new family member. All pups are born inside where I help the mom whelp the pup. I cut and tie the cords to insure the mothers do not accidentally hurniate the puppies. All puppies are raised inside where they are subject to heavy socialization,noise,other animals,and new people. They are raised on purina puppy chow and we do give treats of raw chicken liver or hearts for extra iron and protein. Pups are usually partially potty trained to paper by the time they leave. All pups leave with puppy papers for their permanent registration with the UKC or ABRA.They are given 1 shot of a 7 way vaccination administered by us. This shot covers all the vaccines in one dose. You will be responsible for their follow up shots at 9,12,15,and 18 weeks of age.Also pups are wormed at 2,3,4,6,and 8 weeks of age. When a pup goes for its health certificate for shipping I have the vet give a vaccine for kennel cough to insure they stay healthy during transport.We fly Delta cargo and use The Well Traveled Pet for ground transportation. I can do partial delivery if you live less than 6 hours from me,or can meet me 6 hours from my house.All our pups are raised with love and patience and will come to you as a well adjusted family member. We have a signed contract for you to guarantee the health of your new family member.

This is a brief overview of our puppy contract.

All puppies come with a 1 year guarantee against life threatening genetic defects and 2 years on hips and elbow.What this means is if your puppy gets sick and you take it to the vet and it has a heart murmer(never had one yet) you would get a replacement puppy after you alter the sick puppy. If you either cannot afford the treatment of the first puppy or cannot have more than 2 dogs you can return the first puppy to me. I ask for any pup that has to be replaced be altered so I know that it will not add its problem to the gene pool. On hips and elbows if your pup starts limping and the vet states it is dysplactic then your puppy is replaced.Same conditions on it being altered prior to receiving new puppy.It has to be a vet statment to show proof of defenct. When you get your new puppy you have to have the vet check out your new family member within 72 hours to validate the contract. This insures you did in fact receive a healthy puppy. I also guarantee my puppies for 10 days against infectious diseases. Parvo takes 7 days to incubate. If it is before the 10 days it got it from my house. If a puppy contacts a diesease after the 10 days it was exposed to wherever the new owners took it.Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.
